If there is a reason to tune into these games, it has to be the chemistry between Dibble and Carpenter. It certainly isn't the product on the field. Bob Carpenter has no problem going along with the off handed comments. He's no Harry Doyle, but he keeps the play-by-play pretty fresh. He also isn't afraid to criticize the train wreck.
Then there is Dibble, who can best be summed up with his analysis of Tommy John, comparing him to Jamie Moyer. Then they start talking about Tommy John surgery, to which he adds: "They could have named a Rob Dibble surgery... it would have been a lobotomy."
